Welcome roadies. Our 3 day TRI-STATE RAMBLE (TSR) starts and ends each day in Craryville NY in gorgeous Columbia County. You may register for just two days if you wish. Both versions cover Columbia County NY, Dutchess County NY, western CT and the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Our events are fully supported with attentive support vehicle, cue sheets, rest stops, snacks and sandwich lunches. You'll be near some great country towns for food, music, movies and fine dining in the evenings. Limit of 15 participants each tour so book early.
Our routes are carefully planned for the best experience. You'll view mountain ranges, vast farms & pastures, quaint towns & villages, a rail trail & a gorgeous lake. The terrain is rolling & challenging. The mileage options each day range from 36 to 50 miles. The SAG support vehicle sets up a few rest stops & is always around watching out for you. You'll be able to ride at your own pace. The 2 day event fee is $149 pp and $249 per couple. The 3 day event is $199 pp and $299 per couple.
We can also do the TSR on any weekend of your choice given enough notice and provided you have a group of 3 or more !
Participants will also visit a major park where there will be an option to hike 1 1/2 miles r/t into Mass. to a spectacular water fall, swim, or chill out. We provide a short list of lodging ideas that can accommodate all budgets. Camping, motels and fine Inns are all nearby. NO CAR? We do RAIL PICK UPS at the Wassaic station of Metro-North Rail in Dutchess County NY the day before each event! You NYC folks can bring your bike on the train & enjoy the country cycling. Train leaves Grand Central for Wassaic at 7:46 am & arrives at 10:05 am. Fee is $39 for a rail pick up or $69 for a pickup and return. Once you've decided on your tour dates send your check payable to: Ed Fertik c/o CycleLogical Bike Tours PO Box 307 Philmont, New York 12565. Include your phone numbers and e-mail address.
