What to Expect
- Flexible exploration: Ride at your own pace and follow your curiosity.
- Beautiful routes: Follow our suggested AllTrails map or chart your own path.
- Effortless riding: Our Jetson e-bikes make every mile smooth and fun.
- All-day access: Pick up your bike at 9:00 AM and return it by 5:00 PM.
- All gear included: Helmets, locks, and route suggestions are provided.
This experience is ideal for couples, families, or solo adventurers who want freedom without the fuss of a guided group tour.
What to Bring
- Valid photo ID
- Closed-toe shoes (no flip-flops)
- Comfortable clothes
- Water & sunscreen
- Your sense of adventure!
Helmets are included and must be worn at all times.
Pick-Up & Return
Pick-Up: Starting at 9:00 AM
Return: By 5:00 PM (same day)
Location: Oak Island Nature Center, 5202 E Yacht Dr, Oak Island, NC 28465
Your bikes will be locked and ready for you at the Nature Center bike rack — look for the fence near the handicap parking area.
Cancellations & Changes
- Free cancellations up to 48 hours before your scheduled ride.
- Within 48 hours: bookings are non-refundable but can be rescheduled based on availability.

Safety & Policies
Your safety and comfort are our top priorities.
- Please obey all local traffic laws.
- Be courteous to pedestrians and wildlife.
- Return bikes locked by 5:00 PM.
- A $25 fee applies if bikes are not locked upon return.
- Lost or stolen bikes (if left unlocked) will incur a $250 replacement fee.
- Late returns may be charged as an additional rental day.
- If severe weather occurs (storms, heavy rain, unsafe conditions), we’ll contact you to reschedule or refund your tour.

How to Use Your Jetson E-Bike
Our e-bikes are designed for simplicity and comfort. You’ll be cruising in no time!
- Power On: Press the left button on the handlebar.
- Pedal Assist + Throttle: The motor helps as you pedal — giving you a smooth, effortless boost.
- Cruise Control: Press the right button to activate it while maintaining desired speed using the throttle.
- Headlight: Hold the right button for 4 seconds to activate it.
- Battery Range: About 10 miles on electric power alone — even more when you pedal!
- Brakes: Disc brakes on the handlebars provide steady, reliable stopping power.
