What is the tour schedule?
Our tours operate on a first-come, first-served (FCFS) basis within defined time slots. This means that the availability of one tour is contingent upon the other not being booked first, ensuring a fair and flexible scheduling process.
E-Bikes & Equipment
What is an electric bike, and do I need to pedal?
Our e-bikes are pedal-assist, meaning you still pedal — but the motor gives you a boost, making it easier to ride with less effort. Great for all fitness levels!
Do I need to be an experienced cyclist?
Not at all! Our tours are beginner-friendly, and we provide a quick tutorial before each ride. If you can ride a standard bike, you’ll be good to go.
Do you provide e-bikes for your tours?
Yes! We provide e-bikes for all of our guided tours. Our current fleet includes six high-quality Trek Verve+ low-step e-bikes—perfect for a smooth and comfortable ride around Oak Island. You’re also welcome to bring your own bike on any of our tours!
Can I bring my own e-bike?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to join any of our regularly scheduled tours with your own e-bike.
Is safety gear provided?
Yes! We provide helmets and basic safety instructions. Helmets are required for all riders.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen. We recommend sunglasses and a reusable water bottle.

Do I need to book in advance if I’m bringing my own bike?
Yes, advance booking is required. Spots for BYOB riders are limited per tour to ensure a smooth group experience and appropriate support. Please note: when bringing your own e-bike, you are fully responsible for its maintenance, battery charge, and overall performance during the tour. Please call to book if you plan to bring your own bike.

What happens if it rains?
Tours will run in light rain, but we prioritize safety. If weather conditions are unsafe (e.g., thunderstorms or high winds), we’ll cancel the tour and offer a full refund or reschedule
What if I’m not comfortable riding due to weather or conditions?
We understand! If you choose not to ride due to weather, we’ll do our best to reschedule you, though our standard cancellation policy still applies unless the tour is officially canceled.
